Animal Products / Testing
Sweet Essentials is 100% CRUELTY FREE. We NEVER test on animals. We do not recommend anyone to test on animals. If you are looking for a product for your pet please speak with your veterinarian before doing so. Most of our products are vegan. Ingredients are listed on the items page.
Sweet Essentials operates a PEANUT FREE facility. We do not carry peanut products or oil, nor do we have them in our facility.
Sweet Essentials products are natural nut oils or contains nut oils. Test all products on your wrist if you are unsure how the product will react to your bodies chemical make up.
We are not able to accept returns on ingredients (unless we shipped the wrong item to you) because we cannot guarantee the purity of our merchandise or resell it once it has left our warehouse. If you need to make a return, please contact us to receive an authorization. We are not able to offer a refund or exchange on unauthorized returns, and merchandise returned without authorization will be discarded. Authorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
In the event that we make an error, we will of course gladly authorize the return of incorrect or defective merchandise and pay for the return shipping costs. Please carefully inspect all products, botanicals and ingredients upon arrival and report any problems or need for replacement within 72 hours of arrival.
Most of our products / ingredients, including butters, oils, essential oils, herbs and hydrosols, come from natural sources. They are subject to a normal range of variations in color, texture and aroma. These variations can be due to seasonal changes such as temperature, rainfall, sunlight and other variables. The differences from batch to batch are normal and are not regarded as defects in the product quality. We cannot accept returns due to these variations because we cannot resell the ingredient once it has left our facility. If you know that product variations may affect your production/formulation, please purchase a small quantity first and confirm that your larger order will be from the same lot.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Sweet Essentials ships via USPS. Orders over 14oz in weight ships via priority mail. Orders under 14oz ships via First Class Mail. Sweet Essentials offers Free Shipping on all US orders.
Sweet Essentials gladly ships to APO /AFO's, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Territories. Sadly, due to regulations Sweet Essentials cannot ship essential oils to these states / addresses.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that Sweet Essentials provides Free Shipping on all orders.
Please inspect packages upon arrival. You must report any damages, missing items or missing boxes within3 days of the receipt of your order. We cannot replace missing items unless they are reported within 3 days of the receipt of your order.

It is up to the customer to adequately research the appropriate use and safety information for each item, including any governmental regulations in place for proper usage, labeling and sale.

By purchasing and using ingredients and products sold by Sweet Essentials, you agree that you are knowledgeable about the safe, appropriate storage and use of the ingredients and products that you purchase. You agree to carefully inspect all products, botanicals and ingredients upon arrival and report any problems or need for replacement immediately. You agree that you will not hold Sweet Essentials liable for any problems that arise from your storage and use of the ingredients or products. You will assume all product liability for the final products/creations that you make using ingredients purchased through Sweet Essentials.
Your personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties with the exception that we will be obligated to disclose information should we ever be required to by law, the request of a governmental agency or by receipt of a subpoena. We reserve the right to use your information to contact you regarding orders or inquiries that you place with us.
